Education Forum to Benefit Donna Deegan for Congress
May 14 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
I hope you are doing well during these difficult times. We are all trying to cope with the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and adjusting to life in a new world. I know many of you are educators, students, and parents who are as concerned as I am about how this pandemic will impact the future of public education in America.
I believe we have an opportunity to develop solutions to problems that existed before COVID-19. From inadequate funding and crumbling classrooms, to unrealistic expectations placed upon teachers and food insecure students, most of us have a long list of things we wish we could change about our education system. So how do we use this pandemic as a way to produce positive outcomes?
I invite you to join me, and my checkbook, on Thursday, May 14th for a donor-only event to raise money for Donna Deegan for Congress. This event will be held on Zoom at 7:00pm. I have coordinated this event with Donna’s campaign and Donna is looking forward to listening to our concerns, answering our questions, and sharing her views on the issues important to us.
This fundraiser isn’t a virtual mixer. Education Forum is being hosted by higher education professors who want to support Donna’s candidacy. This is a solutions focused, question and answer, event that is open to anyone who donates any amount to Donna Deegan for Congress. Five bucks or $500, donate whatever you want! Join me in supporting Donna while letting her know what the most important issues are to you when we elect her to represent us in Congress.
Use the link below to make your contribution and join us on May 14th.
You’ll receive an e-mail with your access code after you make your donation.
